Mr Young joined Embraer Commercial Aviation in August 2014 and is the Regional Vice President Sales for Southern Africa. Before transitioning to his current role, Mr Young was based in Singapore and led Embraer’s Asia Pacific marketing team. He has experience in the fields of network and fleet planning, aircraft performance, airline economics, and business plan development.

Prior to his tenure with Embraer, he served in a variety of progressively senior program and marketing roles at Bombardier Commercial Aircraft in Africa, the Middle East, and the Asia Pacific region.

A Singapore citizen, Mr Young holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Waterloo (Canada).
