Brett Preston is an executive at Technodyn International. He is responsible for providing customers insight into how using the IFS technology stack can assist them with their digital and technology transformation goals. In his role, he works closely with customers across myriad industries with particular domain expertise in the financial, mining and construction, telecommunications, and, his passion, the aviation market. Before joining Technodyn International, he was part of the management team for SimAero, a global, independent provider of flight simulator training to airlines, training organisations, and commercial pilots. Here, he ran the sales, marketing, and general management of SimAero’s operations in South Africa, the rest of Africa, India, the Middle East and South America, working to fulfil the needs of the organisation's customer network of 220 civil and military customers from more than 80 countries. He also served a management tenure at the corporate and industrial mobile solutions experts ConyCare and held strategic customer relationship roles at Blue Turtle Technologies and Microsoft. No stranger to business strategy and success, Brett started his career in the financial sector. He was directly involved in managing high-net-worth private and corporate investment clients, at, amongst others, Old Mutual and the IOTA Group. Today he leverages this expertise to assist his clients in unpacking the business value from technology, identifying solutions that meld with their business objectives, and ultimately ensuring that their technology investments bolster the bottom line. Passionate about business leadership and aviation. Brett has a private pilot’s license and continues to work with senior aviation industry members. When he is not in the office, he can be found in the swimming pool or the gym, with a good book, or furthering his studies on strategic management.
